Introduce ecological agriculture concepts
The project focused on introducing environmental concepts to the agriculture in Palestine, that suffers from random usage of agricultural hazardous chemicals.
The idea of the project aroused from the importance of training and encouraging the farmers to use the compost for improving the soil, and as a source of nutrients basically to the Micro-organisms, which plays a big role in maintaining the s oils' fertility and the Plant?s life.
In addition to reducing the dependence on chemical fertilizers which are imported from abroad, and it?s manufacturing methods are polluting the environment as well.
Consequently, the use of such fertilizers damages the soil, since it kills the life within the soil.
The project focused on using plants? and animals? waste to produce the compost, as it has a vital and significant role in the environmental agriculture.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
During the training and field visits, the main focus was the natural farming, in order to reduce the usage of chemicals, which contributes in promoting awareness of the Global Environment
Capacity - Building Component
Farmers were trained on natural agriculture and water preservation methods. Field trips of the agronomists were organized, to enhance the farmer?s capacity building.
