- Fifty bicycles were transferred for use to staff of territorial centers in Radomyshl and Malyn districts, Zhytomyr territorial center, rural village teachers, health visitors and Radomyshl boarding school workers.
- The use of bicycles by Radomyshl and Malyn communities will prevent 65.1 t/year CO2 emissions and save 3,000 UAH a year per social worker due to the opportunity of using a bicycle instead of public transport.
- Five bicycle parkings with 34 slots were arranged in Radomyshl, Malyn and Mala Racha village, due to which the number of active bicycle users increased to 500.
- Three information seminars were held to raise community awareness on the nexus between the use of environmentally clean transport and the solution of the climate change problem; more than 300 persons participated in the seminars.
- Two territory doing-up actions in Radomyshl town and Radomyshl district were carried out (120 persons), due to which 5 springs were cleaned, about 4.9 ha of territories were put in order, and 50 flower seedling bundles were planted.
- Public awareness on climate change issues and benefits of using environmentally clean transport was raised by means of distributing the booklet ?Think green ? march along with the community!? (3,000 copies), the leaflet ?Give way to bicycles!? (3,000 copies), and the ?Green thinking? CD (3,000 copies) that contains a video clip ?Help environment ? transfer to a bicycle!? filmed on the basis of video materials from the project workshops and actions.
- A study on ?Impact of bicycle transport on addressing the climate change problem? was conducted, results of which were used to prepare the Guidelines on strategic document drafting (using the Concept for development of bicycle infrastructure in Radomyshl to address the climate change problem as an example) and present them to Radomyshl district NGOs and local authorities.
