This project intends to make a significant contribution to the efforts of Taats river bank development and ecosystem rehabilitation against real-strengthening desertification and soil depletion in that particular section by creating an environment that better suits to community livelihood improvement and support to river flow and river bank green mass with establishment of a green belt protected fruit grove in parallel with the on-going UNDP financed Sustainable Land Management project.
