Processing of organic wastes for reduction of methane emission and transition to an alternative energy in Yakkabog settlement, Kashkadarya region
The project demonstrates use of biogas technology in Kashkadarya province of Uzbekistan. This is another province where the technology is being demonstrated by the GEF SGP. This time the produced gas will be generating electricity for pumping water for the dwellers of the village, the gas will also be used for heating of the farm where the equipment is installed and providing gas to the nearby households.
