Reaforestation and establishment of beehives in community forests.
The project aims to promote reaforestation in communities throughout the West Coast Region to combat deforestation through tree planting exercises, combat climate change, capacity building and biodiversity conservation through reaforestation of community forests in 27 communities and promoting beekeeping within the community forests as a way of conserving the forests and improving livelihoods.

Project sustainability
The CBO's central tree nursery established by the project, is capable of raising 100, 000 tree seedlings in a given year. From this total, the CBO pans to sell 40, 000 to the public in order to generate revunues to sustain the activities of the CBO.
