Household Food Security and Integrated Farming
Household Food Security and Integrated Farming
VAC is restoring despoiled land, eliminating fertilizer and pesticide use, defeating malnutrition and increasing incomes among Vietnam?s rural poor. Because of the inter-dependence of its diverse elements, VAC protects against biodiversity loss, and the increasing ?natural shocks? brought by climate change. In Vietnam VAC has significantly lowered rates of RTI, diarrhea and stunting, and raised incomes markedly.
