Community Headwater Forest Management as an Ecological Approach to Adapt to Climate Change
Biological conservation of existing import upstream forest through the protection sacred forest. Dong Moud village still have a large extensive forest, dominated by dry dipterocarp with some patches of mixed evergreen forest. The forest area covers appro 100 ha. It become home to several species of animals and plants and it is only the headwater forest in this region. Project aims to strengthen local capacity in management of natural forest and sustainable use of biological resources for enhancing the quality of life and health.
