Appreciation of mountain meadows
The overall objective of the project is to support the local rural population in understanding and appreciating the natural, cultural and economic value of mountain meadows from the Eastern Carpathians, and continuing to use them in a sustainable manner (ecologically, socially and economically).

Project Characteristics and Results
Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples
30 locals are involved in training activities, 20 volunteers are involved in cleaning the grasslands from the wooden vegetation, 50 jurnalists will be trained, and over 10,000 locals from Pogany Havas microregion will be supported by the project results.
Gender Focus
The association collaborates with Barbara Knowles and her foundation and with women researchers and 50% of the volunteers participating within the project activities are women.
