The youth profile in Malawi faces a rage of adverse conditions that impinge them,the most perverse being poverty.There is lack of entrepreneural skills and unemployment among the youth.In an effort to look for employment opportunities for the youth and meaningful ocntributions to the country's development CYDO noted a problem of declining sanitation standards due to careless disposal of waste/garbage in the area.CYDO would like to engage the youth in more active manner to effectively solve the problems of (a-Low spirit on ownership of sanitation servrices(b-ineffective and insufficient services of the local authorities who only cater for the clean low density areas whilst disregarding the unclean high density areas.

Projects main objective
the projects main objective is to reduce the factors that encourage and sustain por environmental health,sustainable sanitation standards within area 25 through waste collection,provision of waste disposal facilities,waste separation recycling and reuse for economic empowerment and youth gainful empolyment.

Implementation strategy
1.Capacity building in waste management separation,rectcling and reuse,to employ them at recyling centres.
2. Conducting hygiene and sanitation awareness campaigns
3. Waste/garbage collection in market places and dor to door aste collection.
