The project will make use of sustainable livelihood system approach in the whole project cycle management through thrusting contributions that address primarily the land degradation problems while still have many entry points for addressing natural resources and biodiversity loses and limited local communities? capacity against impending climatic change effects, livelihoods insecurities, wide spread poverty and gender disparities. In doing so, the project aims to improve community level actions and practices, reduce negative impacts on agro, and forest ecosystems and to demonstrate ecosystem services to sustain ecosystem functionality; deploy innovative low-GHG technologies and successfully demonstrate to 202 target communities in Watera and Gonde-gurate district by the end of the project life.
