GOAL
In 2012, Cemenung Mountain area is rehabilitated by applying environment and cultural principles to improve economical condition of the community living in the forest area.

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : Rehabilitating and conserving spring in Cemenung mountain area.
Indicator : 1. 20 hectares of critical land in Cemenung Mountain are rehabilitated
2. The Cemenung Mountain area is replanted to replant the type of tree and fruit are dying at the time of the first planting.
3. preservation of biodiversity that still exists in the mountain region Cemenung with planting.
4. Existing community group consisted of approximately 1500 person in Cemenung Mountain with responsibility to maintain the forest rehabilitation and water reservoir.
5. The water flow from spring in Cemenung Mountain is preserved.
6. The spring in Cemenung Mountain is used to irrigate community land
Activities : 1. Conducting three initial meetings with community to establish a group with responsibility to maintain the forest rehabilitation and maintenance in Cemenung Mountain area.
2. Planting hardwoods (Trembesi - Albizia saman, Beringin ? Ficus benjamina, and Lamtoro ? Leucaena leucocephala) and fruit plants (Soursop, Belimbing ? Averrhoa bilimbi, Mango, Cashew, and Matoa - Pometia pinnata) in the critical land and nearby the spring in Cemenung Mountain.
3. Replanting the critical land in Cemenung Mountain that previously abandoned or rarely used by community. Maintaining the Cemenung area by fertilizing them for every two weeks.
4. Conducting two meetings to prepare the water reservoir construction in Cemenung Hamlet. The meeting will be participated by community in Cemenung area and facilitated by KSM Tulungagung Hijau.
5. Mapping water resources and its paths in the Cemenung Mountain that previously damaged because of community mining.
6. Building water reservoir in the spring to collect the water and channel them to irrigate community land.

Objective 2 : Creating business opportunities for community as the continuation of programme to support conservation in Cemenung Mountain area by having micro-economy activities, training, organizational training, and mountain eco-tourism planning.
Indicator : 1. Existing business capital of 30 million rupiah for goat farm managed by Tenggong Village community. The capital will be managed by applying gado (profit sharing) system between Tulungagung Hijau and the owner of the goat.
2. Existing training for organizational issue, land use, and organic fertilizer making in Cemenung Mountain area to support the conservation programme in Cemenung Mountain.
3. Existing outbound facilities in Cemenung Mountain as an alternative livelihood for Cemenung people
Activities : 1. Conducting monthly internal meeting between KSM Tulungagung Hijau for planning and reviewing the entire programme.
2. Conducting two meetings to prepare the gado goat farm micro-economy activities for community live in Cemenung Mountain. The meeting will be facilitated by KSM Tulungagung Hijau.
3. Applying the gado goat farm revolving scheme with the community group in Cemenung Mountain as one of the alternative livelihoods.
4. Developing outbound facilities in Cemenung Mountain as supported by local government of Tulungagung.
5. Developing padepokan (community center) as supported by local government of Tulungagung.
Objective 3 : Protecting Cemenung Mountain area by endorsing the release of participatory PERDES (Village Regulation)
Indicator : 1. Optimum role of community in the process of formulating Village Regulation to protect Cemenung Mountain area, this event will be attended by at least 50 community representatives cemenung region.
2. Existing PERDES (Village Regulation) to protect Cemenung area
Activities : 1. Sharing the plan to formulate PERDES to protect Cemenung Mountain area in Tenggong Village with Tenggong Community and local government
2. Endorsing the approval of PERDES to BPD and Head of Village
Objective 4 : Existing The Protection policy is in the mountain area of PERDES cemenung
Indicator : 1. The information on Cemenung Mountain protection is distributed through monthly talk show in radio, local printed media, social network, and poster.
2. Participatory monitoring and evaluation are done per six months and the final evaluation is done prior to the final term of Cemenung Mountain conservation.
Activities : 1. Conducting monthly radio talk show on the importance of protecting the Cemenung Mountain area by involving various stakeholders such as community, government, NGO, entrepreneurs, and academicians.
2. Mobilizing public awareness through printed media, social network, and poster distribution regarding the importance of natural resources protection in Cemenung Mountain.
3. Conducting field assessment on the Cemenung Mountain conservation.
4. Conducting final evaluation workshop for conservation programme in Cemenung Mountain area together with community, government, NGO, academicians, and entrepreneurs with objective to evaluate the result of the programme.

EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. 20 hectares of Cemenung Mountain forest are conserved.
2. The biodiversity in Cemenung Mountain area are conserved, including Macaca fascicularis, deer, and several types of birds and some herbal plants such as turmeric, galangal, ginger, and temulawak.
3. The spring in Cemenung Mountain are conserved.
4. Community revenue nearby the Cemenung Mountain are improved due to micro-economy business
5. Increasing quality of human resources and public awareness in Cemenung area to protect their area
6. Existing PERDES to protect Cemenung Mountain area
7. Existing public empathy through involving community in saving the Cemenung Mountain area
8. Existing community center in Cemenung area as the place for environmental education through discussion, workshop, dialogue, training, community learning center, etc.
9. Existing participatory monitoring and evaluation by community to measure the success and failure of the project as well as to measure the impact of the project.
