EWAD CONSERVING LAKE VICTORIA
The project goal is to influence the behavior of Kigungu fishing communities to encourage their participation in conserving the International waters of Lake Victoria. The objective of the project is to help secure ecological integrity and sustainability of Lake Victoria and its biological diversity, and to improve the socio-economic well being of the local inhabitants.
The project is help stop the degradation of the natural environment, and build a future in which the fishing communities of Kigungu will live in harmony with nature and jealously protect and conserve the International waters of Lake Victoria.
