Capacity building of local community through involvement of local population in nature protection activities and development of ecotourism
The main project idea is to maintain sustainable environment in the buffer zone of the Park through raising awareness and increasing capacity of local population in biodiversity conservation be developing environment friendly tourism, participatory inventory of flora and fauna, involving the local population in restoration of the Park's infrastructure, and participation of local population in the activities aimed at biodiversity conservation.

Project sustainability
After the completion of financing from the GEF SGP side, the project will be followed up by the administration of park in cooperation with partners from international organizations as well as school pupils who were already involved into the project.
Capacity - Building Component
In the frame of the broad information campaign proposed in the project, there will be a workshop directed to the enhancing of ecological knowledge of park's staff as well as pupils from three schools. Different ecological contests will be organized for the pupils of younger courses etc., All these activities are carried out for the strengthening of capacity of local population including children.
