The NGO will grow and breed rare medicinal and endangered plants registered in the Red Book of Mongolia in their community sea buckthorn garden by experimenting to use spaces between rows of sea buckthorn trees with ultimate purposes of awareness raising, capacity building and improving livelihoods.

Notable Community Participation
The NSC members supported the project in view of the fact that the CBO has experience in running agriculture since 1990 and has also a small sized irrigation system /facilities/ to support the grant from their side.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The project is to develop community forestry practices in a riverside willow forest place in the Orhon section of Haraa river by first establishing a community livelihood support grove of fruit trees and green belts around.
