Khujirt-Bayankhangai
The CBO intends to make community forest under permanent protection. The community will clean forest permanently and enlarge tree nursery area. By planting brushwood the CBO plans to decrease illegal logging of high quality trees for house construction, which is the main cause of the mass deforestation in Hujirt soum. Also they plan to make an alternative income-generating source to further support their livelihoods and forest rehabilitation activities for community members.
