Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The project aims to enhance forest management and improve the livelihood of the CBO members through sustainable use of ecosystems. The areas affected by deforestation increased by 16 hectares in 2008. The CBO has planted 6 hectares of trees. It intends to develop its own tree nursery site, pond and planthouse due to the high prices for trees and high preparation costs.
