The CBO aims to develop a tree nursery and pond, to rehabilitate the forest they possess and to develop community members? capacity. At the same time they plan to prevent from pasturing livestock in community forest by advocating herders and locals on project benefits, proper use of ecosystems, and ecological balance and by increasing their involvement in protection of nature.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The cooperative needs to plant trees in 599 hectares and support natural growth in 30 hectares. The CBO has planted trees in fire-affected areas, fenced the springs and cleaned 20 hectares of land. As a result, wolves, foxes and badgers are now seen in the area.
