"The Association for Protection Khan Khentii and Khatan Onon" NGO has established a community information centre in Binder soum of Khentii province and started conducting awareness raising and information dissemination activities among local communities on protection of Onon river and conservation of nature in the watershed to contribute to international waters agreement between Mongolia and Russia. The Centre also assists local herder community groups in learning and gaining experience in nature conservation activities such as raising seedlings, collecting seeds, bee keeping, tree planing, etc.
