The Murehe natural reserve is located in Busoni Distrct, Kirundo province. The main threat of that natural reserve is the anarchic trees cutting, the use of that natural reserve for agriculture activities, bush fire and over grazing which are causing the degradation of its vegetation. The project will reforest empty areas of that natural reserve, will make a physical delimitation of the reserve, will implement erosion control devices in zones neighbouring to the reserve, and will make training of proejct beneficiairies in contruction and use of improved cooking stoves. This project is being implemented by the Association DUSHIGIKIRE IBIDUKIKIJE
