The Kirundo province is now facing to anarchic trees cutting, drough and soil degradation which are causing food insecurity. The project will reforest the project area and will implement watershed management through erosion control devices, forest and agro forests trees plantation. The project will also train beneficiairies in construction and use of improved cooking stoves, will make marshlands protection as well as capacity building for rural communities on the project components. The project will also support beneficiaries in income generation activities and will be implemented by the NGO CADOB ( Cadre d'Appui aux Organisations à la Base)
