Nyakazu area is located in Rutana Province, in the eastern region of Burundi. Nyakazu is a touristic area and is also a protected area. That area is being now thretened by rural people neighbouring that area through anarchic trees cutting ans other biodiversity destruction activities. The projet will then sensitize local administrationand communities in biodiverity conservation, environmental education, trees nurseries implementation, trees plantation, constructions of 3 touristic houses, modern cows breeding, modern bee keeping and training of rural communities in management.
