the project will be implemented in Macandzene area of district of Xai-xai, within the province of Gaza and its purpose is to empower local communities in issues related to conservation of local native forests, and to assist local communities in revitalization of local management committees in getting forest and land rights (land certificates), that will enable generation of income through activity of beekeeping and training of the community in knowledge of environmental laws (Forest and land tenure); small business management on how to work in groups (small sub-associations). It will cost about USD21,695.00 for a period of 18 months; about 200 beneficiaries will have direct or non-direct benefitsfrom the whole project activities, especially the most vulnerable goups that will be prioritized.
