the project is meant to strengthen, educate and make the community aware of the dangers and preventive measures of Environmental Pollution for their own benefit; AESA in collaboration with the Ministry of Environmental Affairs (MICOA) and the National Environmental Fund (FUNAB), together with other international and national NGO?s and CBO?s working on environmental related issues, pretend to use Community Radio transmissions existing in the Maputo province and city to broadcast preventive measures of day to day adequate, equitable and sustainable use of environmental resources; environmental awareness at community level will be increased; the project will implement its activities with the help of the National Environmental Promotion Directorate (DNPA) of MICOA and the FUNAB, with the financial support from the GEF/SGP.
