given the ecological situation in the district of Beira that parts of it are below sea level, with focus on the Munhava area, sanitation is a major issue, due to blockage of water-channels and intrusion of salt seawater; this project aims to promote sustainable management of land and water, preventing the drainage ditches located in residential areas of the districts Mananga, and Maraza Munhava central, not become interrupted by wastewaters and solid wastes; it will avoid soil-salinization in this area of high productivity of vegetables, rice and sea fruits; in parallel sea pollution will be avoided.
