- the rapid expansion of industrial developments and human settlements within Matola city is leading to growth in production of solid wastes that pose a threat to environmental and public health; the project aims to contribute to the management and recycling of solid waste, mostly plastic waste, through its collection and processing in the urban district of Matola within Maputo province, towards contributing to limit pollution by chemicals.
