Promotion of GEF/SGP projects experience on national level and capacity building of various focal groups in sphere of introduction of sustainable models of pastures management in Kazakhstan
Project aim:
Analyze and promotion on national level of SGP GEF projects? experience in the field of sustainable pasture management models implementation
Project tasks:
- Conducting assessment of SGP projects in the field of lands degradation combating, sustainable development of natural pastures and increasing forage resources in different regions of Kazakhstan
- Preparing recommendations for capacity building of key focus groups
- Generalization and promotion of SGP projects? experience on national level
Project results:
- Conducted assessment of SGP GEF projects activities on the theme ?lands degradation? and gave recommendations on further development of this direction
- Carried out informational campaign involving decision-makers on all levels: local, regional and national
- Issued brochure (300 copies on Kazakh language and 100 copies on Russian language, A4 format, full color, 95 p)
