This project will be implemented by a group of farmers that were repatriated from Botswana after independence. They came with the type of cattle and other livestock that might not be up to the desired quality and resilience for the conditions of the Gam area, therefore they want to upgrade their livestock breeds in the face of degraded lands.

Gam is close to Grootfontein in the Otjozondjupa region.
