Devil's Claw Harvesting - Improving Rural Livelihood in Kavango
The project aims to diversity and improve rural income in five areas in the Kavango region through increased sustainable harvesting, marketing and sales of Devil's Claw. It will further train and support communities on sustainable harvesting and monitoring of the Devil's Claw.

The Devil's Claw plant has a proven medicinal use as a pain reliever and as a digestion aid. It also effective in treating arthritis and is a popular natural alternative to synthetic analgesics.
