The project aims to improve the sustainability of in production land and indigenous and community conservation on community watershed /areas through community based actions; intervene into the conservation and enhancement of environmental challenges through integrated and sustainable land management practices and climate proofing of land use and forestry; enhance and strengthen the capacity of community (particularly the CBO members and those of indigenous people); promote the rehabilitation of degraded land area and avail alternative source of income, food and feed; and create alternative livelihoods (income generating activities).
