Community Based Degraded Land Rehabilitation for Sustainable Development in Aldada dela Peasant Association
The project aims to rehabilitate the local environment through integrated sustainable land management activities that enhance its service giving capacity so that community?s livelihood potential is improved and biodiversity resources are conserved. The specific objectives of this project include to improve the sustainability of in production land escapes and indigenous and community conservation community watershed /areas through community based actions; to intervene into the conservation and enhancement of environmental challenges through integrated and sustainable land management practices and climate proofing of land use and forestry; to promote the rehabilitation of degraded land area and avail alternative source of income, food and feed; and to alleviate pressure on land and create alternative livelihoods (income generating activities).
