In the neighborhoods of the capital, the use of charcoal and firewood, are the main source of energy used for cooking. Consumption is high and the price of coal and firewood too expensive. The project aims to test four alternative models of stoves (two charcoal stoves, a wood stove and a solar cooker) lower consumption in order to identify what best fits the needs of the population of one of the most populous neighborhoods of Bissau. The stove will be elected later produced and marketed in the neighborhood. The costs of residents with coal and firewood will be reduced and the merchants of the new stove will get revenues from their sale
