Promotion of Responsible fisheries in PNO – National Park of Orango
Promotion of Responsible fisheries in PNO – National Park of Orango
The fishing with monofilament nets in protected areas is prohibited, due to the fact that they are not biodegradable and whem they are lost in the sea they remain fishing, killing all the fish that get caught. In Guinea-Bissau there are no shops for selling nets, and fishermen have to buy the nets in neighboring countries. The project aims to introduce a shop in the National Park Of Orango (Parque Nacional de orango).
