The planning grant will support the grantee to organize an orientation training on the different uses of bamboo, as well as to write the project proposal. The trainer will be coming from Guyana, as this expertise is lacking in Suriname.

Eventually, the planning grant will result in a project proposal, which will be submitted as SGP, and which aims for increase of income generation through the production of high quality bamboo products.
