The CBO will establish a herder group owned/managed green zone in Gobi that increases community resilience and acts as a shield against soil erosion, sand and snow storms over spring and winter and most importantly must lead to combating desertification and land degradation including pasture depletion by encouraging, enhancing and facilitating herders? continued future activities directed towards resilience, livelihoods improvement and sustainability.
