Projecto de Produção de Plantas endémicas e sua Reflorestação
This project has as main objective to promote the protection of natural resources in areas of the Parque Natural of Serra Malagueta, while at the same time enabling income for poor families in Curral Velho, Santiago Island. The association recognizes the need to protect park resources, by promoting reforestation of degraded areas with endemics, and constructing anti-erosion mechanical barriers as a way to protect their own farm land and obviously their livelihood.
