The project is about making stoves and construction bricks from lava rocks.. The project is expected to help the removal of lava rocks and fee land for agriculture in Northern Rwanda. those stoves also use broken rocks as combustible to reduce the use of biomass energy. The project is implemented by a cooperative of indigenous people.The GEF money is for buying modern tools to encrrase the stove factory productivity.
