The project aims to significantly and sustainably improve the livelihood status of the pastoralists and agro pastoralists in the project area through improving conservation and sustainable utilization of the existing environmental assets to sustain livelihoods of the local community; establishing and strengthening capacities of CBO and traditional institutions to fully participate and get awareness on local and global environmental issues; and reducing poverty levels among the youth and poor women HHs using viable and environment friendly income generating activities.
