The project aims to attain sustainable natural resources management practices and knowledge base through improving natural resources management in the watershed of Gibe I reservoir by demonstrating integrated resource rehabilitation on 500 hectares of land in the watershed, reducing pressure on watershed vegetation cover by diversifying income and increasing agricultural productivity for 200 HHs; and increasing knowledge of 50 community representatives, 10 kebele and 20 woreda decision makers and 20 agricultural technical staff on climate change through focused trainings.
