Community Mobilization and Capacity Building for Environmental Rehabilitation, Sustainable Resource Management and Solar light in Deneba Kebele
The project aims to ensure sustainable water supply of Deneba Kebele by saving Deneba Hafir Dam from damage through rehabilitation and protection of the 40 hectares of catchment, to introduce solar energy to 80 households and Kebele institutions, to improve the livelihood of 70 households by introducing beekeeping and cattle fattening and to build the capacity of the community towards sustainable utilization of the natural resources by assisting the community to gradually transform community based organization.
