Enhancing SEPL Resilience through Integrated Conservation and Development Strategies in Bore-Agalo Kebele of GG 1 Catchment
The project aims to promote fodder development and animal fattening enterprises for addressing the environmental and socio-economic threats mentioned in the project proposal, and to ultimately contribute to enhancing the SEPL resilience in Bore-Agalo kebele of GG 1 catchment through contributing to the livelihood improvement of 200 CBO members by promoting integrated conservation and development strategies such as plantation of multipurpose plants and animal fattening; minimizing communities? dependence on the environment for their livelihood and thereby contribute to improving biodiversity conservation and restoration of degraded lands that lead to sustaining the lifespan of GG 1 dam; and contributing to institutional capacity building and networking for the promotion of integrated landscape management and ensuring SEPL resilience.
