Rehabilitation of Degraded Land for Sustainable Development in Zigti Merche Kebele
The project aims to rehabilitate degraded land thereby enhance biodiversity conservation and improve livelihood of the community through enhancing rehabilitation of 300 ha degraded land through area closure; operating various soil and water conservation measures on 142.5ha of degraded land; improving soil fertility through compost application; enhancing and strengthening the capacity of community; and promoting income generation and asset development to community members.
