Expected Project Outcomes:
Conduction and implementation of informational training sessions in five rural communities with the pur-pose of promotion agro-biodiversity, conservation of forest diversity and rational use of forest resources in the natural park Sari Khosor;
Conduction of special activities of reforestation (forest fruit, woody plants and shrubs) on 10 hectares of forest territory and natural areas in the park
With the participation of 30 local farmers, rejuvenated and re-planted fruit trees on 10 hectares in the terri-tory of park;
Establishment of 4 composting pits for the soil productivity;
Development of catalogue (50 pcs) on traditional methods of processing and conservation of food and appropriate crafts (with participation of 120 women);
Development of catalogue (100 pcs) on knowledge of local biodiversity and adapted varieties of fruit and vegetable crops and animals;
Improvement of fruit and vegetables production (30 farmers), feed and animal products as well as their processing in 50 households selected by social criteria, manufacturing capacity, and agreed to the terms of the project (such as continued assistance to the nominated disadvantaged social groups);
Contribution to the conservation and strengthening of local indigenous environmental and food traditions, by organizing and conducting dekhkan (individual) holiday "Mehrgon" among local youth groups (schools) and a meeting of forest workers with employees of forestry;
Contribution to the improvement of energy security at least in 50 households by advocacy and dissemina-tion of information on implementing project on modification of ovens and thermo insulation/German Agro Action.
