Promote establishment of wool and skin reproduction workshop as sustainable use of local biodiversity in Djirgatal district.
The main goal of the project is to develop a wool processing unit and production of environmentally friendly products on the basis of local production style, by holding of traditional crafts, with the active participation of community (masters and craftsmen) in community-based tourism activities, to promote stimulation of protection and prevention of extinction of rare species of people?s (folk) products in Dzirgatal district, RT.

? Continuation and expanding of efforts for the development and preservation of traditions with harmonization to the National Plan of Action in this section
? Development of and optimization of traditional ecological direction in the region and the use of eco friendly products in this field through the creation of craft production workshops.
? Improving the level of knowledge and awareness of local authority, local government (jamoats), culture institutions, business organizations (local sponsors), professionals, local residents, amateurs of traditional arts and crafts about the processing of wool and animal skin and ways of its improvement"
? Organization of one month training course in Dzhirgatal district for around 40 young women, girls and men for the production of handicrafts and employment
? Improving living level of 40 employees of the workshops where there are 300 family members
? Annually, through mentoring plan to prepare 20 young people/maters in the production of wool and leather
Financial sustainability
The financial sustainability of the project will be ensured by the public and recipients by the following me-thods:

Environmental sustainability
According to our calculations, the project has a significant and appropriate contribution to the restoration of the environment, it contributes to the achievement of the environmental tasks, especially under the framework of national program "Program for processing of animal raw materials (leather and wool) in Tajikistan for the period upto 2015" and the position of the UN about Development of artisan crafts and traditional affairs (production of products from natural eco-friendly materials"
Also, the project contributes to the implementation of the national strategy for the protection of the envi-ronment.
Institutional sustainability
Local community and amateurs of crafts in the region will make use of our practical recommendations, about methods of how to develop crafts and their role in preserving the people traditions.
Local authorities, Jamoats, cultural institutions will further pay attention to and contribute to the develop-ment of it.
New and various workshops will be opened on production of different handicrafts
Cooperation of workshops with potential clients and local government structures and other interested or-ganizations and individuals will be strengthened
Signing of memorandum between workshops and trade sets on corporation and consultation to market linkages for the purpose of product sale.
