GOAL
Informing best practices in environmental management to community in Bener Village, Tegalrejo sub-District as the main element to develop the Environmental Education Ecotourism Village

OBJECTIVES
Objective 1 : To conduct participative and comprehensive planning with communities in developing ecotourism village
Indicators : 1. Existing data of environmental management and cultivation in Bener Village, which include social, economy, and natural resources data
2. There is enthusiasm for those actively involved in planning the activities worskop measured and the number of data collected from the community. The number of workshop participants by 50 people representing the community
3. Identification of the material that adopt elementary school environmental education program taught in the first tourist village education
4. Identification of networks and institutions for collaboration that can support the development of Ecotourism Village Program.
Activities : 1. Conducting Focus Group Discussion as a method for participatory data collection with community to collect data on social, economy, and natural resources.
2. Collecting data on school curriculum that relates with program development
3. Analyzing data and program recomendation related with the potency of the area
4. Joining the workshop for program planning development held by GEF SGP
5. Conducting the Focus Group Discussion with community to follow up the analysis from the workshop and to share the role and responsibilities in implementing the program
6.Mapping possible partners for collaboration in developing the program

EXPECTED OUTPUT
1. Program planning document regarding the development of ecotourism village
2. Materials, models, and contents to be adopted by elementary school supporting the ecotourism village
3. The planned improvement model Income Communities
4. Mainstreaming of plans locality values with the culture-based activitiesProposal to be proposed for full grant scheme to GEF SGP Indonesia

PROJECT PARTICIPANTS AND/OR BENEFICIARIES
Direct : Bener Village Community, District Tegalrejo have a detailed guide and directed the development of the tourist village. The population of 5640 people, with 2807 women and 2833 men
Indirect : 1. City government can have a picture of a model and stimulus aid that will be made in the location of the object.
2. Elementary school students around the Village Bener rides tourist village can use to learn about environmental management.
3. The number of primary schools 182 schools with grade 1-6 less than 30,000 people.
