“The development of a feasibility study on the possibility of using alternative sources of energy for electricity and heat for small community facilities”.
The idea of the project is to study the various renewable energy sources in order to develop a feasibility study and reference to the construction documents to build midwifery unit in Jaiylma village, Kurama a/o, Panfilov rayon, Chui oblast in order to create a fully autonomus midwifery unit.
Activities to be undertaken by Public Foundation ?Centr Effektivnogo Upravleniya? in the framework of the project:
1. Conducting technical and economical evaluation of such objects using:
? Flat solar collectors for electricity, heating and hot water supply;
? Electricity for all needs (hot water, heating, etc.).
2. Technical and economic evaluation of parabolic cylindrical collectors for heating system, hot water supply and electricity.
3. Comparative analyses of technical and economical evaluations with the use of different sources of energy for the midwifery.
? Calculation of energy consumption of different energy sources in tonnes of conventional oil.
? A comparison of the advantages and disadvantages, of total investment and feasibility of various energy sources.
4. Equipment selection and justification of the choice made.
5. Work activity scheduling.

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
Feasibility study and evaluation of results will help in developing design and construction documents for construction of midwifery, which will enable to build it with different renewable energy sources and make it fully autonomous.
Policy Impact
Feasibility study of different renewable energy sources and their further incorporation into design and construction documents of the midwifery construction will have a great demonstrational impact to others. This experience is expected to be repplicated by others.
