Developing and Strengthening Community-Driven Conservation and Livelihood Initiatives in the Sepik
Successfully completed in May 2012, the replication of Crocodile farming to 7 new villages of the existing 50 communities living in the Middle and Upper Sepik River. The US$4,500 planning gran is intended to support the consultation process to build up the SWMI initiative to cover the entire river system as well as put forward a full project proposal for US$150,000 strategic project grant, which may be the first awarded by SGP in the country.
