The idea of the project is to prevent land degradation of Suusamyr Valley through the development of sustainable irrigation, creation of a seed fund to increase fodder and implementation of accurate digital maps to enhance the capacity of local communitites.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Development of the full project proposal and its successful realization will have good effects on local livelihood by recovering: pasters conditions by increrasing its fertility up to 20-30%, better irrigation system will improve the water flow in the average of 30-40% (based on preliminar assessment)
Project sustainability
Overall, the project will ensure sustainable livelihood for the local population by land restoration and improvement of irrigation system and arranging of effective use of water among water users.
