"Reducing CO2 emissions through introducing renewable energy sources and improving energy efficiency of a center for orphans and children from socially vulnerable families in Orlovka."
The idea of the project is to reduce CO2 emissions to 32 tons per year by installing a solar water heating system at the center of temporary care of children "Nurmeeaysa" in Orlovka, Chui oblast. It is also planned to create a small demonstration area of renewable energy sources with solar barrels, simple collector, solar dryers, solar stoves, which will improve the living conditions of inmates of the center and equip them with skills of self-assembly and operation of these facilities.

Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples
Indigenous Peoples will learn the skills to design solar barrel itself, which will allow more than 30 villagers Orlovka to start using these settings in their homes and improve the quality of life of their families.
10 particularly needy elderly installed solar barrels, more than 40 people have read the rules for using a vacuum manifold.
Notable Community Participation
Local community are always in the centre of the project and are involved in all the activities: round tables, discussions, meetings and in questionnaires.
The project 4-5 November 2013 held a two-day seminar, with the participation of representatives of local authorities and target groups of the project partners.
