The Môngué is a town in the district of Maxixe in Inhambane province which is part of the coastal mosaic of Inhambane province; apart from mangroves the region is rich in marine species such as coral reefs, whales, turtles, various fish species and marine flora; the project aims to raise the level of awareness of local communities about the sustainable use of coastal-marine resources establishing a mariculture project through the Womens? Environmental Cooperative; control of soil erosion will also be part of the project activities.
