The project that aims to recover degraded native Licuati forest habitats within the Maputaland Centre of Endemism and promote environmental awareness of the communities of the administrative post of Catuane and its corresponding locations involving promotion of sustainable use of natural resources; endemic flora and birdlife will be better preserved; orchards within schools and households will enable improvement of diet supply; tree nurseries of native trees will be established, and control over logging and charcoal production will improve.
